Launched in the summer of 2012, New York City’s The Din is
a group of friends who share a passion for music as rich as their backgrounds are diverse. Detroit-born drummer, Lisa Wilson
(Poporoxi, Hate in the Box, Lunic), founded the group with long-time friends Matthew Pritchard and Isam Rum (Pale Male), a
multi-talented song-writing duo and monster vocalist and guitarist respectively. The three together, veterans of the NYC rock/indie
music scene, soon enlisted prog/metal song-writer and guitarist Jonathan Clark (HUNG) and multi-instrumentalist Joey Santiago
(The Anthony Bruno Band) on bass to round out the line-up.
Although they are a new project, the
collective talent and experience within Back-Seat Bitch was evident from their debut performance, which picked up critical
acclaim right from the get-go from David Holland of Surge FM: “…The crowd was highly appreciative of their entire
set as they were treated to quality from start to finish. Sadly that is a rare thing in music as it seems to be more about
glitz & glam versus well crafted songs & actual musical talent. If you long for such music, Backseat Bitch will not
disappoint!”

The group has their sights on the
heart of the independent music scene and with this much dedication and talent, it can’t be anything but a bull’s
eye.
